Rooms and Spaces
Welcome to the Ciletti Memorial Library!
Our library offers some of the best study spots on campus -- a place to both connect with other learners and disconnect from outside distractions.
- If you need a space for quiet group work, try the Reading Room on the first floor.
- If you need a low-distraction environment to concentrate, try the quiet zones on the second floor.
- Study rooms of different sizes are also available on both first and second floors! Please note that study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Desktop computers are available on the first floor of the library and in selected study rooms on the first and second floors.
Our library is also home to a One Button Studio and video editing rooms.
Scan and Print
We have multiple options to support your printing and scanning needs.
- An easy-to-use scanner with email to send files to USB or email is available in the library.
- Our campus uses Paw Prints, a cloud-based, pay-as-you-go printing option for traditional printing needs. A printing station is available in the library.
- We can also help with your poster printing needs! Our large format printer allows us to print posters for academic and research purposes. To submit your poster file for printing, please use our Poster Printing Request Form. Please allow two working days for printing.
Textbooks and Reserves
Our course reserves service provides students with access through the library to many textbooks, articles, films, and more that are assigned in classes.
General Information for Students
Our physical course reserves items are available to borrow for short periods of time. These items are located in the library; ask at the help desk near the library entrance.
Our electronic course reserves (also called e-reserves) include electronic journal articles, e-books, scanned selections from books, and more. These are available through the Libraries’ e-reserves system and also through your courses in Canvas.
Need help locating reserves items for your classes? Contact us at UL-SCHUYLKILL@lists.psu.edu or 570-385-6234.
General Information for Instructors
Making course materials available through the library’s course reserves service helps reduce students’ financial burdens and barriers. Instructors may put material on reserve, both physically in the library and electronically through the Libraries’ e-reserves system. Course reserves items can include library-owned and library-licensed materials, as well as instructors' personal copies. For more information about course reserves at Penn State Schuylkill, please contact Rosanne Chesakis (Library Operations Supervisor) at rmc2@psu.edu / 570-385-6236. The course reserves section on the University Libraries homepage also provides useful information, including copyright restrictions and linking reserves to Canvas.
