The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library houses a collection of approximately 20,000 items including videos, periodicals and CDs on contemporary architecture (1850- present), landscape architecture and related topics including urban planning, historic preservation, drawing, design, architectural technology, etc. The collection is complemented by collections found in other University Libraries' locations, such as: the Engineering Library, the Earth and Mineral Sciences Library, the Life Sciences Library, the University Special Collections, the Libraries Annexes, Maps and microfilms. Due to space considerations, the majority of the pre-1850 architecture collections are found in the Arts and Humanities Library in the Pattee Library building, a short walk from our library. The Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library has over 100 current serial subscriptions and a total of more than 150 serial titles. The majority are complete runs with the most recent volumes located in our library stacks and the retrospective volumes located in the Arts and Humanities Library.
