Group Study Rooms

Eight group study rooms are available.  Thun 115 seats 8 - 10. Thun 118, 120, 122, 124, 129 and 131, 133 seat 6 -7.  All group study rooms are equipped with PCs and monitors, DVD and/or VHS players and white boards. A three person minimum is required for a group room.  Anyone in the group may book the room. Reservations are forfeited after 15 minutes.  If there are less than 3 students in a group room after 15 minutes from the start time, we ask that the  remaining student relinquish the key to accommodate other users.

Individual Study Rooms

Ten small rooms are available.  Thun 114, 116, 117, 119, 121, 123, 125, 132, 134 and 135 seat 2-3.  All individual study rooms are equipped with whiteboards.  Several rooms have DVD and/or VHS players.

"Welcome to the One Button Studio"sign

Penn State Berks Media Commons

Thun 127, the One Button Studio is a simplified video recording studio that requires no previous video production experience. The design of the studio allows users to record high-quality video projects without setting up lights, microphones, and cameras. Users can simply bring their flash drive and push a single button.    

The Media Commons also includes rooms, 126, 128 and 130.  Each is equipped with an iMac workstation loaded with iMovie, GarageBand, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite.

  Room reservations need to be made a day ahead and the online system only allows for a 3-hour session once a day. 

     As before, we will allow renewals as long as there is not a reservation on the room.
