The Agriculture Network Information Center (AgNIC) is a voluntary alliance of the National Agricultural Library (NAL), land-grant universities and other agricultural organizations, in cooperation with citizen groups and government agencies, the purpose of which is to provide agricultural information in electronic format.
Penn State's contributions are:
Youth Development provides access to various 4-H research databases, and historical information for 4-H and other agriculturally oriented youth programs.
Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) provides access to research about the program.
Home Gardening provides access to information on vegetable and flower gardening for the home.
Turfgrass provides access to information related to home lawn care, sports fields & golf courses, turfgrass species, diseases, pests, and weeds as well as general turfgrass information.
